Starting a blog has been on my heart for awhile now, but a few things have held me back. Is my life really interesting enough for someone to want to read about? Sure, there are the occasional afternoons spent chasing down a rogue chicken, but everyone has days like that right? Second, do I really want to put myself out there, and give the internet at large the opportunity to judge and pick me apart? Isn't that what Facebook is for? And finally, do I have the time and attention to be consistent? We have a saying in our family that we use frequently with our girls. "You get what you get and you don't fuss a bit." Wonder if that applies to blogging as well......
But in all seriousness, I've been gently reminded that really, this is not about you. It's not about me either. My life is about Him. About Christ. And it's my prayer that you laugh with me, learn with me, enjoy a glimpse into our not so perfect lives, and see a reflection of our Father.
So...now is as good a time as any! Welcome to my blog where you'll find a little bit of everything going on in our crazy house from goats, chickens and gardening to recipes, homeschooling and life. And hopefully a whole lot of faith sprinkled in.
